Hello everyone!


It's been awhile, but I should say a few things.

First of all, we're back!

Secondly, This forum as a "free trade of information" website no longer exists. I've been thinking, and I've decided to fully transform the forum and site into a writing, poetry, and story board. With this, you can still post poetry, your writings, stories, even RP! Most sections not related to writing may be deleted. (namely Forum Games) However due to the nature of some forums (ie. The debate forum, and the books forum) being related heavily to writing will stay open allowing you to enjoy them more.

Thirdly, we do have the new look, however most of our mods are gone. We'll be installing them soon enough, however the NewPoints mod, and the GameSection mod will most likely not be returning.

Fourthly, I would like to welcome Pika to the admin team, I have thought about it and I think it's time for a second full admin.

Fifthly, Neko, and Auron are now moderators. Congrats!

Hey everyone,

I bet when you looked at the new site you were like "WTF!?" Well, with the new host I decided to get a new look, so I designed our exclusive html page, and am currently redesigning the forum theme to match. So good luck everyone!

Congratulations everyone! We've gotten 800 posts in a little under three days! By far, as my most active site yet, I thank you for making my endless hours of work enjoyable, and completely and totally worth it!

While it's time to celebrate, we also need to look to the future. We are always in need of members to bring more activity, and a new view on life to the forum. Every member that joins creates a ripple effect. One member joins, posts a thread, three members comment on that thread, and so on.

So please, keep making my work enjoyable, and keep the website going strong by telling all your friends and family about us, and tell them to tell their friends and family, and so on! We can make it yet!

After what happened earlier today, I've come up with these rules for the shoutbox:

1. No personal conversations relating to dating or intimate contact.
2. No sharing or discussing information involved around your real life. Your business is your business, and our business is ours business.
3. Curse words are allowed but nothing sexual.
4. Keep posts on shoutbox down to around 500 characters or less.

Here are the income rates for Epic Points:
New Post: Two Points
New Thread: Three Points
New Poll: Three Points
Points earned per post character: .01 Points(100 characters=1 Point.)
Points earned on joining: Ten Points.
Points earned by author per reply to a thread: .5 Points
Points earned per thread rating: .05 points.
Points earned per page view: .01 points
Points earned by referring a member: Five Points. (They must fill in your username in the referrer field at registration for you to receive the points. Fake referrals will result in the loss of ALL your points, items, and a deduction in post count by 100.)

Instead of just being an RP forum, I've gotten some help and have decided to turn the site into a full blown discussion forum for everything.

We'll have a .org domain name, and the help of an online marketter to bring more traffic to the forums.

We will be moving to generaldiscussionforum.org within the next day or so. All posts WILL be saved.

Experience with MyBB, and knowledge of basic functions.

Moderators:
Past moderating experience
References that I can refer to about your time being staff on their site(not needed but helps a lot.)
Proper Grammar(Must have.)
Global Moderators:
Everything Moderators need.
Extensive MyBB ModCP knowledge.
Arcade Moderators:
Everything Moderators need.
Exensive knowledge of the AdminCP, and the willingness to be trained to add and manage games in the Arcade.
